Q: What types of personal graphics projects do you typically design?
A: The most common designs that I’ve been asked to create include various occasion invitations (weddings, showers, sip n’ see, rehearsal dinners, large gatherings, etc.), special occasion stationery (wedding reception menus/wine lists, programs, place cards, custom envelopes, save the date postcards, wedding details cards), personal branding (blog logo, wedding logo), + custom stationery (everyday letterhead, thank you cards, custom envelopes, postcards, stickers). These are just ideas…honestly the sky is the limit with design!
Q: What type of business graphics projects are common here?
A: Brand Identity/Logo design packages are the most common. This is for business owners looking to streamline, uplevel their business + clarify their message/value. I absolutely love working with small business owners + entrepreneurs. The SMART Brand Identity Package offers this service. Additionally, you can select from a slew of other MINI Brand Services that are the sprinkles on the cake. This will never be “just a logo” we’re designing. For any business, regardless of the size, the logo design is a critical slice of the multilayered cake to craft a full creative vision for your business. Now I’m getting hungry for a treat!
Q: What’s the process like working with you?
A: Fun! Organized. Well-communicated. Exciting! Thorough, clear communication is my top priority. Everything is done digitally/via email. If we need to jump on a call or a video call to talk through something, no problem, but in general most of my clients are happy to collaborate via email during the entire process.
The process can be described in 4 steps: Gather, Create, Refine + Release.
Gather (acquire strategic information from you + we brainstorm your hopes + dreams for the project). Create (I design + execute your creative vision we’ve discussed and present options for you review). Refine (we make any tweaks needed + get a final stamp of approval from you to create your final files from). Release (all your final files are prepared + emailed to you + any other final close out details for your project).
Q: How are project estimates + payments handled?
A: A detailed cost estimate will be emailed to you to review after I receive all your project details. This also includes a project timeline (schedule) so there are no surprises + you know exactly what to expect. 50% of the project investment is due to begin design work on your custom project. The remaining 50% is due prior to the final designs + details being released to you.
