If your home worked FOR you, what could that look like? Less cleaning? Being a more present parent? Less stress? Deeper rest?
The first time I truly understood the impact the spaces in my home had on HOW I lived + how I FELT was when I was home alone with my first newborn. Everything about life had changed drastically + almost nothing around me reflected the new life that had been brought in or the way we were going to grow together. Suddenly the area I did laundry was hard to use, knickknacks cluttered up walls + shelves + seemed meaningless + digging around in cabinets + drawers to prep a meal seemed unbearably difficult. I knew there had to be a better way — my home was not working FOR me + was making simple daily tasks so much harder than they needed to be.
The mental health benefits of a home that works WITH your daily rhythms + needs is often deeply overlooked.
A little at a time, I peeled back the layers of what wasn’t working in our home, removing things that did not serve our daily needs + season of life — we created new rhythms + spaces that worked FOR us, not against us.
The changes we made to the spaces in our home helped me feel GOOD again + live WELL, while creating a home for my family to thrive in.
How it works.
1. See + assess your spaces as they are.
No judgment, we’re just assessing where things are at, what goals you have, what’s not working, what is working. This is not a time to beat yourself up — it’s a time to build yourself up for what’s next.
2. Change + reset what’s needed.
Next, you’ll tap into strategic tools to help you create swift, impactful moves to improve any space in your home, at the pace that works for you. This is where we make changes to fix on-going struggles in your home + align the function of your spaces with your goals.
3. Enjoy + maintain your efforts.
Just like anything you value, it must be cared for + maintained. You’ve peeled back + removed the layers of roadblocks in your space + now you’ll create a personalized space that you love to be in. This is where you tell the story of what you love + of the people in the home.
Let’s get started.
Welcome to human-centered, strategic ideas to help you create a home that you’ll thrive in, blocks out the noise of the world + helps you rest + be your best when you get back out there tomorrow.
